On the early 50s and 60s, there was a group of British
Working Class teenagers that was called MOD. They have their own image such as short
hair and their way of life was more towards fun in life. The MOD is more likely
into fashion and there is a song that is related to MOD which is Dedicated
Follower of Fashion by The Kinks. On the late 60s, the group called themselves as skinheads
that divert them from the MOD into totally Working Class .They shaved hair and
wore steel-toe boots as it can be protections or weapons.
Skinheads consist of labours and they are considered as the
less intelligent people by the media. Their daily activities are going to pub
after finished their work or hang out at the hall and majority of them is the
immigrants from Jamaica. This is the place where they will have a chat with
each other and share their interest while listening to SKA music. There are two
things that they really love which are football and beer.
